I'm afraid I’ll disappoint you, but what you’re suggesting are fine details that the vast majority of users don’t care about - including myself. In fact, I (and many others) find the POI icons on Mapy.com very well designed, whereas I personally consider the OSM icons quite unattractive in comparison. The icons on Mapy.com are clear and well thought out. For example, the size difference you mention in your first point is something I honestly don’t even notice - both icons seem reasonably sized and easy to understand. Someone at the Mapy.com team has to create and maintain all these icons, and as new POIs are added, more are constantly needed. It’s only natural that they won’t be spending time fine-tuning every visual detail like this. Right now, the team has a lot of more essential feature requests to deal with, and I believe I speak for the vast majority of users when I say we’d rather have them focus on those instead of spending time on such small tweaks. That’s likely why no one from the team has responded. I'm sorry if this is disappointing to hear, but unfortunately, it's not possible to accommodate every suggestion.

Pro jistotu přikládám i informace od Google Play a odkaz na naši nápovědu, kde najdete návod k instalaci a podmínky, které musí být splněny, aby šla aplikace do hodinek nainstalovat.

I’m having trouble deleting the app on iPhone (it was for a trip). When I press the mapy icon and say delete app nothing happens. I tried to report an issue through the app but can’t do this without logging in. I can’t report through Apple as the app is free (which is great). I’m just trying to save space on my phone.

Bez konta premium możesz mieć pobraną mapę tylko jednego kraju, np. Polski. W każdej chwili możesz ją zamienić na mapę innego kraju, ale wtedy Polska nie będzie już dostępna offline. Jeśli znajdujesz się w miejscu bez sygnału sieci (brak internetu), to faktycznie — bez premium nie będziesz mieć dostępu do map poza pobranym krajem. Natomiast jeśli masz dostęp do internetu przez dane mobilne lub Wi-Fi, wszystkie mapy będą się ładować automatycznie online. Różnica polega na tym, że mapa offline jest odczytywana z pamięci telefonu, a mapy spoza pobranego obszaru są pobierane z serwera, co może wiązać się z większym transferem danych (w przypadku sieci mobilnej — może być płatny u operatora). W praktyce, przy dobrym połączeniu internetowym, nie zauważysz dużej różnicy. Mapa kraju pobranego offline wyświetla się od razu, natomiast online może się ładować chwilę dłużej — zależnie od szybkości internetu. Nie przełącza się tego ręcznie – wszystko działa automatycznie.

Dobrý den. Jde nějakým způsobem vybrat dvě kategorie při hledání najednou? Dost často hledám turistické přístřešky před deštěm a nově k tomu přibyly útulny, rád bych tedy hledal jak útulny tak přístřešky najednou. Přes klasický středník mi to nejde. Popřípadě pokud to jde předat jako podnět k zamyšlení a vývoji. Myslím, že by to bylo užitečné i pro další uživatele, díky.

At the moment, it’s not possible to display multiple imported GPX tracks on Mapy.cz and plan a new route over them. This feature has been requested repeatedly in the past, including on the previous version of the forum. The team at Mapy.cz is aware of the demand and it’s planned for the future. The goal is to allow keeping tracks - and also waypoints - visible while planning, organized by folders where the GPX files are stored. However, there is currently no timeline for when this will be available. For now, there's a workaround using the external site gpxmapy.cz. It’s a GPX editor primarily intended for editing, merging, extending, and fixing GPX files. Since such functions require route planning, the site includes planner. And this planner allows exactly what you're asking for - the imported tracks remain visible in the background while you plan a new one. However, compared to Mapy.com, the planning options are more limited - for example, it doesn’t include all routing modes or POIs. You can load your GPX files there, plan a new base route, and then export either the GPX file or directly transfer the plan into Mapy.com. This is likely what you need - a new Mapy.com tab will open with the same planned route, which you can then save to your account and fine-tune further. You’ll then be able to navigate based on that. Please note that gpxmapy.cz doesn’t have a mobile app and is only available for desktop. It is available in English. Uses the same map base (via API from Mapy.com) Think of it as a toolkit designed to work alongside Mapy.com - for example, you can even convert a track directly into a route plan see here
