I use map applications as if they were a paper map on which I drew a sketch of the route with a pencil at home. I don't want to, because someone was leading me by the hand to the destination, saying turn left or turn right.
For this, I need the ability to display a track (GPX, <trk>) on the map background. I prepared such a track in advance using any tool or received it from an external source. The track should only be displayed so that I can see my position in relation to it. Without any "leash" in the form of arrows and voice instructions.
Additionally - I would like to be able to read such a track from the internal memory of the smartphone or from a personal cloud in Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, etc.

What you’re describing is exactly what Mapy.com already supports.

Both on the website and in the mobile app: go to "My Maps" and then "Saved".
There you’ll find an option to "import a GPX file" – you can save the track into a folder (or directly into My Maps).
If you do this on the web, the track will sync to your mobile device and vice versa. You can also share the imported track.

It behaves just like a recorded track made with the tracker.

When you open the track in the mobile app, the <trk> section will be shown as a red line, and you can simply navigate by following your blue location dot along that line.

For example, this is commonly used for hiking.

Thank you. I read your answer and... theoretically everything is correct. And... I immediately bought "Premium". And tomorrow I'm going to check it in the field.

Just to add – by clicking the round blue location icon, the map will center on your position and will move as you go, keeping the blue dot in the center of the screen.
Clicking it a second time will start rotating the map in the direction you're heading.
More info is available in this thread.

@Jan-Buriánek It is possible to display a GPX track on the map, but then you can't search for anything else. This could be solved by adding a "show on map" switch to the saved locations. The track would be displayed on the map, but it would still be possible to search for and display other elements.
