Directions from gpx

@Jan-Buriánek Thank you very much @jan-buriánek for your help, that did it so the synchronisation must be used to transfer the track to the phone.

Good we're paying premium and don't get basic fundamental features. Instead this funny workaround. Quite amateurish from Mapy.com
-
@manuel_platzer "Amateurish" is probably a bit too strong.
Mapy.com achieved an incredible amount while the service was completely free. Of course, they couldn't implement every feature users wanted. Introducing Premium gives them additional resources to keep developing the platform, although it still doesn't include everything many of us would like to see.
I also hope that direct navigation along imported GPX tracks will be added in the future. Until then, this workaround is simply one option for those who need that functionality today.

@manuel_platzer
I had the same problem, so I built a small free tool that fixes it: you upload a GPX and it converts the track into a route (waypoints) that mapy.com can actually navigate.It also handles the tricky stuff like trims part of a track, merge two files,
or simplify a track that's too dense to fit mapy's point limit.Runs entirely in your browser, no signup: https://contour-eta.vercel.app/
Still actively working on it, so any feedback is welcome. -
@Paweł-Koperdowski Thanks for sharing. Just a note that this is an external, third-party tool and isn’t operated or officially supported by Mapy.com, so we can’t verify or recommend it. For feedback about GPX import and route planning in Mapy.com, feel free to share it here.

@Paweł-Koperdowski That's great! Worked for me! Perhaps you know if the routh can be displayed on the map on OS WEAR smart watch?
-
@Paweł-Koperdowski : Hello,
After importing a GPX file, when I click on “Open route in Mapy.com,” I get a page that says “Ce site est inaccessible” (in French).
I may not have fully understood how the tool works.
Thank you for your help. -
Please also check the second post in this thread. It describes how to convert a GPX track into a route plan for Mapy.com using gpxmapy.cz.
The solution mentioned in the latest posts, developed by another programmer, was added later as an additional option. The gpxmapy.cz procedure has been described here from the beginning.

@Jan-Buriánek : It works well, thank you
.
Now I just need to find out if it's possible to follow this route on my car's CarPlay.
(I'm part of a running event organizing team, and I travel along the courses to set up signage, manage aid stations, or provide support...) -
@xavier.servel I'm afraid that won't work. On Android Auto and CarPlay, Mapy.com only supports navigation in driving mode.
You would therefore have to switch the converted route from hiking to driving mode. However, the car route planner won't allow you to follow paths intended for walking.
See more here.
