tracking stops
-
Tracking stops on my phone whenever i take a photo and doesn't start again till I restart my phone.
Does anyone else have this problem -
@difitz7 Hi, could you please provide us with a bit more information? Are you using Android or iPhone?
When you start Tracker, you can enable or disable the option “Automatically pause tracking when you stop moving.” When this feature is enable - this could explain why the tracker stops when you pick up your phone (for example, you stop to take a photo). It should resume automatically once you start moving again.
As the simplest solution, you can try reinstalling the app, but please let us know if that changes anything. -
Tracker interruptions (recording dropouts) are often caused by the Mapy.com app not having continuous access to location data. This is very individual — it behaves differently on each phone.
Check the app settings. Mapy.com needs to have “location allowed all the time” enabled, and battery saving must be disabled for the Mapy.com app.
On some phones recording may work even without these permissions, but for example the camera might have location tagging enabled, and taking photos can then affect how the system handles location services. Even a small, seemingly unrelated change can influence something else — including recording.
Location allowed all the time:
Settings → Apps → Mapy.com → Permissions → Location → Allow all the timeBattery saver off (no restrictions):
Settings → Apps → Mapy.com → Battery → Unrestricted
