Real time location sharing

Greetings, I have been using Mapy on a daily basis and it works great my only pet peeve or the only reason I still need to have GMaps installed is that I have real time location sharing with my wife and it is super useful because it can help organise our commute.
Is this something that is being worked on?I know it is possible to do it when navigating but how about 24/7
