POI in Galaxy Watch 4
-
Hello
The map is working properly in my watch, but it doesn't show POIs that I can see on the phone.
Is it supposed to show it?
If yes - how can I fix that? -
@Guy-Manzur Could you please send a screenshot of what it looks like? For us, the POI points normally appear above the map. Thanks.
-
@Jakub-Faifer I simply see the map without any POis that I marked.
The flow is that I open the map in my phone, hold on a place on the map, "save" the place.
Then open the map in the watch.
The saved place is not there -
@Guy-Manzur Aaah, displaying saved places is currently not available on the watch. There is a tracker, navigation, and online map display.
-
@Jakub-Faifer So what did you mean that the POI points appear there?
-
POIs are the various icons you see on the map by default – like restaurants, bus stops, lookout towers, and many more. That’s what "Points of Interest" (POI) typically refers to.
What you meant, however, was a saved place – a point you manually created and saved. But you didn’t specify that clearly, and instead wrote “POI” in parentheses, which confused us a bit.
So just to clarify: saved places currently do not appear on the watch, but built-in POIs do.
