change email address of my account (and why is this not possible?!)

Hello, I'm fully aware of all the previously existing queries and replies on this forum about this very basic thing, changing the email address of an account. That's exactly my point, especially as a subscriber and (so far) happy customer of mapy.cz
So many people are asking for this. Yet you seem to ignore this absolutely basic need for something that any webservice these days is granting, either directly through account settings or at the very least through support request.
So, please explain why exactly you expect your paying customers to delete their existing account and create a new one (including having to recreate all their favorite places, connections with location sharing etc. etc.) just because they want to switch their email. Because that's plainly absurd. This should be a basic feature. What is the problem..??

@Lexi Hello, thank you for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, changing the email address of an existing account is currently not supported due to the way user accounts are technically set up.
As a workaround, you can share your saved routes with your new account using the Share button. You can also share entire folders from My Mapy, so you don't have to recreate all your saved content manually. We know this isn't an ideal solution, but we hope it helps make the transition easier. We'll also pass your feedback on to our product team.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit? You'll also be able to save bookmarks and upvote posts to show your appreciation to other community members.
