Using mapy in China

Hello,
I will cycle to China and I am just wondering if I can use mapy overthere.
I have downloaded already the regions I am travelling so I could use mapy.com offline.
The only navigation tool which I use anywhere in the world is the blue gps point " my location".
Does this gps tool works in China too, so that I can see where I am right at the moment?
