Location button does not center the map on my current position

      I am using Mapy.com for Android, version 26.8.0 (26080001).

The app can detect my GPS location correctly, and the blue location dot is displayed at the correct position. However, when I manually move the map away from my current location, I cannot make the map return to and center on my current position.

Tapping the location button in the bottom-left corner only switches between north-up and direction/heading-up modes. It does not recenter the map on the blue location dot.

I have also enabled Automatic Centering in the Navigation settings, but this does not solve the problem.

For hiking and following an imported GPX track, it is essential that the map can recenter on my current GPS position and follow my movement.

Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue in Android version 26.8.0, or advise how I can enable current-location centering and tracking?

      Device: Samsung Galaxy S24+
      Android version: Android 16
      Mapy.com version: 26.8.0 (26080001)

        Hello,
the button in the bottom-left corner is used to switch the map orientation, so tapping it does not recenter the map.

When you move the map away from your current position and the blue location dot is no longer visible, a blue circular button with an "arrow" should appear on the screen. Its position indicates where your current location is relative to the visible map. Tap this button to return the map to your current GPS position.
