Request for permission to use a sample of photos for academic research

Dear Mapy.com Team,
I am a 4th-year Bachelor's student at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at Warsaw University of Technology (Poland). I am currently working on my engineering thesis and as a part of research section, I am comparing the performance of Visual Place Recognition algorithms. To conduct these tests, I require a dataset of geotagged photos from selected mountain trails (used as "query images"). Unfortunately, I do not have a sufficient number of multi-temporal photos in my personal archive that meet these criteria.Therefore, I would like to kindly ask for your permission to use a small sample of photos available on Mapy.com along the following trail sections in Polish Tatra Mountains:
Przełęcz między Kopami (1499 m) - Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy (1620 m);
Myślenickie Turnie (1354 m) - Kasprowy Wierch (1987 m) - Beskid (2012 m);
Wodospad Siklawa (1565 m) - Przełęcz Zawrat (2159 m),
exclusively for academic research purposes.I assure you that:
the photos will not be published anywhere (neither in the thesis itself nor in any materials submitted to the university later),
the only output of the evaluation will be aggregated performance charts and statistical error metrics of the tested models,
this project is strictly non-commercial and academic.
I would be extremely grateful for the opportunity to use these materials to advance my research project.Best regards,

The photographs displayed on Mapy.com are primarily user-generated content and remain protected by the rights of their respective authors. The licence granted to Mapy.com by users allows us to use the photographs within our service, but it does not generally allow third parties to download the photographs or create a separate research dataset from them.
For this reason, we are unfortunately unable to grant you permission to use or download a sample of photographs from Mapy.com for the described research project, even if the project is non-commercial and the photographs would not be published.
You may consider using photographs released under an appropriate open licence, or photographs for which you obtain permission directly from their authors.
