Na meritku vlevo dole jsou v zavislosti na priblizeni hodnoty napr. 400, 800, 1200 m, 800, 1600, 2400 m nebo 3, 6, 9 km nevhodne na odhadovani vzdalenosti na stovky metru, jednotky nebo desitky kilometru. Rozhodne vhodnejsi by misto uvedenych prikladu byly 500, 1000, 1500 m, 1000, 1500, 2000 m a 5, 10, 15 km a k tomu prislusne upravene delky car.
