App startand switch

Every time i start or switch to the App i ihave to wait several seconds for the app to come up. If I use it to quick I get a window wait or quit app. So I need to restart the app and wait again. The behaviour several years ago was much more responsive. Just opening and using. So often I switch to an other app now, but planing in mapy is much more convenient. Do i have to configure an other option or is the reason changes in the app?
