      Hi
      I noticed that some details of the maps are different when viewed from a PC rather than from an app.
      The maps I see from the app are updated.
      Can anyone tell me why this happens?
      In both cases I look at the outdoor map.
      Thanks
      Sergio

        @Ser-gio Can you provide a specific example? It could be that the Web Mapy (as viewed from PC) has the more up-to-date raster, as is usually the case. On Mobile version of Mapy, the raster is only updated once every 2 months (if lucky) or even less than that, which is not that great.

          @Matic-K.

          Thanks for your reply.
          This is the Adamello Vertical Kilometer route, in the municipality of Vione BS - Italy. It is a change that I saw on PC in September 2024, today the map of the mobile version is not updated yet, is it possible?

            OK, so what exactly seems to be the problem on your map? Is it the yellow The Adamello Vertical Kilometer route that does not appear for you, or is it something else? Because it appears in yellow for me both in Web Mapy and Mobile Mapy (on iOS) - even though I don't even have the offline map downloaded for this region of Italy.

            If that's not the case for you, are you sure you are using the latest version of Mapy from the App Store/Play Store? Also, since you are a non-Premium user, have you selected the 1 map you will be using for offline use (presumably Italy?)?

            Perhaps it would also help if you could post a screenshot of your map to let us see which part you believe is not being updated.

              @Matic-K.
              The problem is that I don't see the route in yellow, from the app.
              My app version is 6.51.5, (IOS) I think it's the latest.
              Yes, I downloaded the map only for that region of Italy. Thinking it wasn't updated, I recently deleted it and re-downloaded it.
              I'll show you the screenshot.
              Thanks

                @Ser-gio Hm, that's strange. I'd suggest to delete and reinstall the whole Mapy app to see if that would help. If not, I'd suggest that you wait for one of the Mapy staff to reply here. (Note that I'm just a regular user like yourself trying to help here. 🙂 ).

                      Yukon map in the app is very different then on the web. Very low quality. Reinstalation of the app did not help at all. does anybody know what could be the reason, please ?

                        Take a look here.
                        The map background in that area is extremely detailed, and it’s not possible to store or transfer all those details because it involves a huge amount of data. On mobile, vector graphics are used, whereas on the web, map tiles are used - these are pre-rendered images that always occupy the same (small) amount of data, no matter how detailed their appearance is.
