APP Current Location on Elevation Profile

Current Location on Elevation Profile: A suggestion that would be extremely helpful for understanding the terrain: when viewing a route created in the app while using the App outdoor, I can see my current location on the map. It would be great if my location could also be displayed simultaneously on the elevation graph.

It would be useful to see your current position on the elevation profile of a saved route in My Mapy while hiking. In other words, when you open a route that you previously planned and saved in My Mapy, your current location could be displayed on the elevation profile as shown by the red dot in the picture below.

Does anyone know if this feature is being considered or is already in development?

Currently, your position is displayed on the elevation profile only while recording a track or actively navigating. However, this is impractical on longer hikes, when you want to conserve battery life and avoid keeping navigation running in the background.

@Matic-K. Hello, thank you for your suggestion. Your current position is displayed on the elevation profile only during active navigation or track recording, as only then can the app determine whether you are actually following the route. When simply viewing a saved route, your position may not be on the route at all. Thank you for your understanding.
