Import GPX with atributes
-
Hi, is there an option to import GPX points with my own labels (defined by ID column present in the attribute table)? Or is there an option to display information from the attribute table when clicking on each point? So far, I was only able to import GPX file, but the point labels were generated automatically based on the order of points (e.g., Point 1, Point 310). Thanks

@Štěpánka-Pustková Hi Štěpánka, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment, and we are not working on such a feature. However, this GPX file could be very helpful for our programmers to check. Could you please send it to us? I will also contact you via chat.
Thank you very much! -
Hello,
I work a lot with GPX files (I even have my own website for that). And honestly, I’m not sure what you mean by “ID column present in the attribute table.”
GPX is an XML format, so everything is stored using tags. Specifically, the name of a WayPoint is enclosed in <name> tags. If your GPX file contains <name> elements, these will be imported into Mapy.com as waypoint labels.
Maybe your labels are stored in some <extensions> tags instead?
I’d be interested in seeing your file – I’ll message you via chat. -
