How can I delete multiple waypoints in one move, so that after each one is deleted, the route is not recalculated each time?

No, that’s not possible.
Waypoints can only be deleted one by one, and the route is recalculated after each deletion. There is no option to remove multiple waypoints in a single step.

It's very irritating and complicates route planning.
