How to delete

@Ewelina I have the same issue, cannot delete your app, no matter what I do, your method from previous post didn't work, my iPhone is set to be able to delete apps, can delete any other apps, just not mapy.com, I have iPhone 15 pro, iOS 18.5, when I choose "delete app" when holding mapy.com icon, it does nothing, just won't delete, no error, nothing, very frustrating

@Ewelina thanks, but unfortunately nothing works, I tried everything, including restarting phone, signing out of the account, completely turning off the screen time feature, your app is gone from the home screen, but it's still there when I open App Library, or in the settings. When I click "Delete app", there is nothing more after, no other prompt to confirm deletion, it's just there
Like I said, I can freely remove any other app, just not mapy.com :

@piotrkonkolewski Do you have any error message? Please check in Settings → Apps → Default Apps if Mapy is set as the default navigation app. If so, try changing it to another app.

@Ewelina I'm also having this same issue. There is no error message or issue in settings. When i select 'remove app' i get a popup that allows me to select 'delete app' --- then nothing happens; the app is still there.
there is obviously an issue on the app side and yall need to push an update to remedy this.

@El-Del-Inc We have noticed 5 cases on the forum and were not able to reproduce the bug on our devices. The problem is on your device, not in the application. What have you done to try uninstalling the application?

@Ewelina i assure you, its in the app build and not an issue with my device. it is the only application that won't delete on my phone. i'm using the most up to date version of iOS and your application.
please remedy this situation.

hey @Ewelina - i’m still waiting for a solution or other ideas from your end. The app still wont delete, despite trying everything “solution” proposed here or elsewhere on the internet. This is the only app i have ever had an issue deleting.

I am experiencing the same issue. I can delete any other apps but not the Mapy app. Iphone 13 Pro Max iOS 18.5
How can the app be deleted permanently? Why is this app the only one that is not deleting properly?

Same here. iphone 15 Pro with the latest iOS. Mapy is updated to the latest version and tried everything else. Please someone share the fix when you know how.

@Calvin-Lim Thanks!! I did some digging online — maybe you have an app blocker app installed that has a setting enabled like "Prevent app uninstall"? It’s mentioned in this iPhone forum thread. Worth a quick check!

@Ewelina I can assure you I do not. Even if I did unknowingly, why does it only prevent mapy from being uninstalled? All the other apps doesn’t.

I’m finally able to delete the app for those of you interested. You can try the following that I did. Go to settings > iphone storage and locate mapy. Then click on Offload App first. Once all the data is offloaded then click on Delete App. Tried without offloading and it just keep loading but did not delete the app. Hope this helps.

@Calvin-Lim hell yes, that worked. Legend. Thank you. Definitely a bug in the Mapy app preventing this from being done as normal
