But old position might come from the fact that the one sharing their position does not share it so often. As in their phone is offline, their app Mapy.com does not have access to the internet or geolocation etc. That happens for example when they share their position but minimise or close the app without giving it permission to run in the background, get precise geolocation while being in the background and so on.</p>

Not that your device asked the server such a long time ago. So a refresh button would do nothing for you in that situation.</p>
