Hi, it's very useful to see the altitude while you are planning a route or while you are consulting the outdoor map.
In the picture it's shown how is done in another app.
Look: the arrow 2 shows the altitude of the cross indicated by arrow 1.
The cross is fixed in the center of the screen, with your finger you move the map e the altitude is updated.
This option is absolutely important for mountain hikers.
